Isac Elliot — Concert Visuals

One of several concert visuals built for Isac Elliot’s 2024 live performances in Finland, designed to move with the track and hold at full stage scale.

Created as part of a broader concert visual package for Isac Elliot’s 2024 live performances in Finland, this piece was built around a particle-based head synchronized directly to the track. The goal was not just to create background motion, but to give the performance a visual that moved with the beat and held its form across a large LED backdrop and supporting stage screens.

The concept came from a simple but effective tension: identity dissolving into rhythm. A recognizable human form stayed readable inside a shifting particle field, pulsing and breaking apart in sync with the music rather than sitting on top of it. That balance between structure and instability gave the piece its energy.

This visual was one of several developed for the live set, but it was the clearest example of the system behind the work. The main challenge was technical as much as visual: keeping the setup tightly locked to the audio, preserving the read of the face, and making sure the piece still held up at stage scale. I built the system in Houdini, moved rendering into Unreal Engine 5.3 to keep turnaround practical, and finished the piece in post.

The result was a concert visual that felt physically tied to the track rather than simply placed behind it.
