Field Day — Reveal Trailer

Stylized environment effects for the Field Day reveal trailer, built as an FX artist with the CFX team.

For the Field Day reveal trailer, I joined the CFX team as an FX artist, brought in to help build the stylized environment effects that set the atmosphere of the world.

The effects had to sit inside the trailer’s stylized look, with readable shapes and a hand-crafted feel, while still carrying enough weight and motion to make the environment feel alive.

Effects were built in Houdini and rendered in Karma, working within the team’s USD-based pipeline so they could drop into shared scenes, lighting, and shot updates without friction.

The result was a set of environment effects that supported the trailer’s tone and scale without pulling focus from the characters and action.
